The Mistique Natural Skincare brand was founded by the Beauty Therapist Latha Urquhart during 2002 in Perth, Western Australia; a region with one of the harshest climates for skin health in the world.  

After trying many off the shelf products that kept yielding unsatisfactory results Latha began to hand make a cleanser and moisturiser of her own without hash chemicals, whose ingredients were instead composed of botanical extracts.

Latha used her 18 years of professional experience in cosmetic treatment and as a skin care adviser to further develop a wider range of natural skincare solutions for herself and those clients with sensitive skin who needed something with less harsh chemicals.

She put together her natural botanical range with the purest essential oils and botanical extracts made fresh as demands required, resulting in skincare products with powerful cosmetic effects and  wonderful natural aromas.

Every season her regular customers would buy out her supply and then return asking for more. But then in 2020 as the covid pandemic gripped the world, the beauty treatment centre Latha had worked hard to build up was forced to close due to the restrictions enforced by the Covid quarantine lockdowns.

During this time Latha’s work ceased but a new idea came to mind, those who were not able to come to her directly could still receive her skincare range by mail, so the decision was made to share the skin care products developed through our practice online for loyal customers and new friends around the world to purchase.
